About Us

The Multicultural Greek Council (MGC) at USC is composed of 10 diverse organizations — five fraternities and five sororities. MGC was founded in 1997, during the emergence of a colorful multiculturalist movement within the Greek community. Our organizations are diverse in membership, philanthropic focus, and cultural expression and we come together as a council to develop ourselves professionally, academically, and socially.

MGC is also dedicated to serving the surrounding community through cultural enrichment and civic engagement. Our organization’s focus is on improving various areas of philanthropy, including education, homelessness, domestic violence, cancer research, and many more. We are also dedicated to fostering brotherhood and sisterhood, promoting community service, encouraging scholarship, and engaging in campus involvement. The Multicultural Greek Council is also home to organizations that represent their tradition and history through showcased performances such as stepping, strolling, and saluting.
